Budapest Workshop, 2024 (English)

Folk songs and classic folk song arrangements from Hungary and around the world

Join Kinga Cserjési, certified teacher of the Libero Canto Approach–the singing pedagogy of Lajos Szamosi–for a five-day-long summer workshop. During the workshop, singers will experience the Libero Canto Approach by participating in individual lessons, masterclasses and/or group sessions, and develop their singing skills through the exploration of folk songs and classic folk song arrangements from Hungary and around the world.

Libero Canto™ is a holistic, process-oriented approach to vocal pedagogy. It is called, “the path to free singing” (la via al libero canto), because the goal is to liberate people who wish to sing from physical, emotional, or mental constraints, so that they can make music through singing with ease, grace, vitality, and joy.
